Assignment:
Artists organize their work using what is called “principles of design”. In your assignment you will create five files, each of which will illustrate one of these principles. The principles you will be viewing are balance (symmetrical, asymmetrical or radial), pattern, rhythm or movement, unity and contrast.
Begin by viewing the examples in class during the teacher led discussion.
Create a 5 x7 inch, resolution 72 and RGB file for each of your compositions.
Use all the tools and techniques you have learned to complete the assignment. See the examples of finished projects in class. You may choose to work with an image or create your own shapes to complete the assignment
